My work mate's son came to collect him from job the other day whilst his own car was at the garage. Nothing unusual in that you would think, why shouldn't he? Well from all the reaction of my work mates I thought that he had arrived on the scene in an exotic classic so I trailed outdoors to take a look. There sat not the exotica I had been expecting but a 1966 Chevrolet Sport van, custom-made as 'The Mystery Machine' from the Scooby Doo show!
My immediate reaction was to break into a wide smile and looking around everyone I could see that I was not all alone. The family live close so I thought that I might call by later to take a closer look. Speaking to them I quizzed if they always get that kind of reaction to the vehicle and was told to " jump in we'll go for a ten minute drive ". Well I was amazed at the reaction, both pedestrians and other road users smiled and also waved as we passed by, so when I got home I made the decision to see what was available online for the Mystery Machine.
